If I commission Redshift Photography, can I use the images as often as I want without restrictions?
The simple answer is yes! Redshift Photography doesn't charge usage fees where the images are used for your PR and marketing purposes, i.e. use in press releases, brochures, website or other literature, as we firmly believe that you should have the freedom to use the images as often as you want without having additional fees imposed on you. This way, you know exactly how much it's going to cost you from the outset and there are no hidden extras!
Do I own the images when I commission Redshift Photography?
In accordance with the 1988 Copyright, Designs & Patents Act, the copyright remains the property of the commissioned Photographer and a credit must always be attributed to Redshift Photography, unless a written agreement specifically passes ownership of the images to a third party.
What happens if I want to pass on some of the images for a third party to use?
All third parties wishing to use the commissioned photography must be directed to Redshift Photography to negotiate the right to use such images. However, if you know of any third party wishing to use the images we've taken for you, once you've put them in touch with us, we'll then credit you with half of any agreed fee we've negotiated with the third party. By simply spreading the word, you could directly benefit from this amazing deal!
